ALLIE Keele

owner & licensed marriage and family therapist

I’m a naturally curious person who loves to hear people’s stories. I spent years making meaning of my own story, and it led to a desire I had to understand others in a deeply sacred way. The connection I feel with clients profoundly impacts my own life because it is constantly shifting my perspective and widening my own understanding. To me, therapy is a collaborative deep dive into what holds us back, what keeps us stuck, what triggers us, and what lights us up. It is an exploration of what it means to be human and be in relation to others.

At its core, therapy has simplistic goals with very nuanced and varied paths to reach them. Though people come to therapy for different reasons, I’ve found that their language inevitably always describes disconnection; disconnection from their partner, from their bodies, from their sense of purpose, from their community, from a loved one who has died, or just from their own self-understanding. So, while I practice specific therapy models (Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy), my treatment plan is about recreating connection.

If you’d like to hear a little bit more of my voice in therapy, take a look at my instagram page which has backlogged posts that have been influenced by my practice. It’s @tribecaintegrativetherapy.

If you’d like to have a conversation about what brings you in, let’s go ahead and schedule you. I’d like to meet you, to hear your story, and see if we can work together. Please reach out to email me allie@tribecaintegrativetherapy.com or text me 203-856-1967. I look forward to connecting.
